Steward & Stewardess

Following the resignation of Bill and Gena, the Club requires a new Club Steward and Stewardess.  Position comes with a Catering Franchise for the provision of food in the Club.

Experience of Club environment preferable and one partner must have catering experience.

Duties include serving drinks and interacting with Club members, financial management of the bar, cellar management , regular cleaning of beer lines, stock control and ordering, banking, overseeing bar and cleaning staff and setting up the Function Room for club and private activities.

Responsibility for safety and security and complying with Health and Safety regulations at all times ensuring Club is compliant with licensing regulations. Keeping relevant documentation for testing of smoke detector, emergency lighting, fire safety etc.

Maintaining club diary of events and liaising with relevant members who have hired function hall.

Keeping  bar areas and courtyard clean and tidy and ready for each session.

Must have a Food and Hygiene Certificate for the Catering Franchise and provide a varied lunchtime menu of hot and cold dishes with Roast Dinners on Sundays.  If required, provide buffets for private functions.

Smart casual dress required at all times when on duty.

3 bedroom live- in accommodation and utilities provided.

Salary to be negotiated.
